How Bartering on East Texas Barter Works

Thanks to our cutting-edge online barter software, bartering for East Texas businesses is easier than ever!  Once you become a member, trading is just a few steps away!  It can be done in 3 Simple Steps:

Step 1.  Log-in to Your East Texas Barter Member Account

All East Texas Barter members have a secure Username and Password to log-in to their secure Barter Account on our trade exchange website, which is found at: http://www.easttexasbarter.biz/.  Put your Username and Password in at the very top of the page, and click “Login”.

Once logged in, you will see all of your Account Information, including amount of Funds Available for barter purchasing, Items or Services you have for Sell, and your Transaction History.

Step 2:  Purchasing Items Through East Texas Barter

You can easily search for and purchase items on the Trading Floor, by clicking on the Trading Floor menu.   Once there, you can see all of the products and services available for you purchase in your local exchange, as well as globally!  Once you find what you want, simply click on the item and click Purchase.  The seller will be notified through a secure message that you just bought their item and will take care of the transaction from there.

Once purchased, your Available Funds will be reduced by the amount of the item that you purchased and the Seller’s account will be increased by that same amount.  Everything is tracked and accounted for so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of it yourself.

Step 3: Selling Items or Services Through East Texas Barter

To post items or services for sell, go back to the My Account screen and click on the button that says Trading Floor Items.  You will see a list of everything you have on the exchange for sell and will have the option to Add New Item.  Click on that and follow the instructions to add items and services you would like to be posted on the exchange.  Once someone purchases one of your items, you will be sent a message and your account will be increased by the amount of the sale.

Again, everything is tracked in the East Texas Barter software, ensuring that you get credit for the items you are selling and don’t have to worry about keeping track of it yourself!
